A kinetic analysis of ore grinding in ball, rod and jet mills is carried out. Studies of grinding
in different-type mills demonstrated the possibility of describing this process using calculations
of the expectation and a nor-mal deviation of the grainulometric composition of material.
It is found that for fine ore grinding the curves of the kinetics equations form square-law
parabolas, the factors of which depend on material properties and the mill type.
