Aim and Tasks
Technical Mechanics is dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge and fostering innovation in the fields of aviation and space engineering, applied mechanics, and material science. Its primary aim is to provide a platform for the dissemination of original research articles, comprehensive reviews, and theoretical developments that contribute to the progress of engineering sciences and their practical applications.
Key tasks of the journal include:
- Publishing peer‑reviewed research that addresses fundamental and applied problems in technical mechanics.
- Promoting interdisciplinary studies that integrate mechanics with aerospace engineering, materials science, and related domains.
- Supporting the exchange of ideas among researchers, engineers, and educators at both national and international levels.
- Encouraging the development of new methodologies, experimental techniques, and computational approaches in mechanics and engineering.
Serving as a reliable source of scientific information for academic institutions, industry, and policy‑making bodies engaged in aerospace and mechanical research.
Starting with June 2026, the journal is to publish papers of the Mechanical Engineering and Machine Building cluster:
G 8 Material Science;
G 9 Applied Mechanics;
G 12 Aeronautical and Space-Rocket Engineering.
